5 Easy Thanksgiving DIY Decor Ideas

Thanksgiving is in one week and I can’t believe it. I feel like Halloween was two days ago!

Follow along to view our favorite DIY home decor for the season that is sure to impress your friends and family and add a warm element to your home for the holiday.

1. Pumpkin Place Cards

Simply buy mini pumpkins and write each guests name on one for their place setting. Some markers work but paint tends to be the best all around option.

2. Front Porch Pumpkins

This one may involve a few extra steps but worth it if you have the time! Plus if you follow the link for the instructions, there’s a fun surprise on the other side. 😉

3. Banner Ideas

Another easy option is any sort of banner, and one that you may not even need to make a trip to the store for. If you have any string/ribbon and a printer you can print and cut the letters to any saying you want, for any room or holiday. Simply hot glue the letters to your material to create a festive banner that can be easily recreated! More ideas here

4. Framed Photos

This is one of the easiest and probably my favorite decor idea I use for the holidays. I have framed photos throughout my home that I simply print and change the photos out for each holiday/season. I even use my own printer rather than ordering them elsewhere and having to pick them up. Canva is a great place to find photos or even if you have taken some yourself to print! Below is what I had printed and framed for the Christmas season and it cost nothing and is a fun touch to add!

5. Light Up Jars and Vases

This idea is easy to use and highly customizable to whatever you may need! For Thanksgiving you can find mini pumpkins, pinecones, or any other object you can think of. Find some fairy lights (usually pretty cheap at Amazon, Target or Walmart) and wrap the lights through the vase objects for a cute lit up centerpiece. For Christmas I like to use mini ornaments with the fairy lights!
